His Excellency the Attorney General of the State of Palestine Mr.Akram Al-khatib and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Modern University College Engineer Samer Al-Shyoukhi signed a joint memorandum of understanding that contributes to cementing& consolidating the cooperation and the relationship between the two parties, in order to develop the legal and educational environment, and prepare a qualified professional staff in all fields and provide them with the necessary expertise. In the presence of the Assistant Attorney Generals Mr.Khalid Awad and Mr.Yasser Hammad, and the President of the Public Prosecution Members Club, Mr. Ashraf Meshaal.

Attorney General meets EUPOL COPPS Head of Mission Mr. Kauko Aaltomaa in advance of ending his mandate

Palestinian Attorney General Mr.Akram Alkhatib received the Head of the EU Police and Rule of Law Mission in the Palestinian Territory (EUPOL COPPS), Mr. Kauko Aaltomaa at his office in Ramallah to honor him and to wish him well for the future before the EU official leaves his post on the 30th of September this year. Sharaka Project

CIDA and the Canadian Department of Justice developed a comprehensive five year project to support and promote the Public Prosecution Services. Sharaka project depends on Canadian expertise and leadership to bridge the gap in international aid aiming at supporting the Palestinian judicial sector.

Mateen Project

Mateen project focuses mainly on developing selected public prosecution offices in six districts; Nablus, Jericho, Tulkarem, Qalqilia, Dura and Hebron in the technical aspect of their work, developing and automating case management at these offices, as well as training and developing the capacity of prosecutors and administrative staff.

Swedish Grant

The Swedish representative provided a grant during the years 2009 and 2010 to support the urgent needs of the justice sector institutions: the Public Prosecution, the High Judicial Council and the Ministry of Justice.

Justice Sector Assistance Project JSAP

This project is funded by the US Department of State. In its first phase, the project focused on supporting the public prosecution offices to increase their efficiency in prosecuting through providing advice, guidance, training and equipment.
