HE Attorney General Mr. Akram Al-Khatib has met with the Canadian Representative to the State of Palestine Mrs. Robin Whitlover, the Director of Cooperation in the Canadian Representative Office, Mr. Jason Talc, and the Director of Project Management, Mr. Khaled Rajab to discuss enhancing the mutual cooperation methods between the two parties, in the presence of Assistant Attorney General Mr.Yasser Hammad and the Head of the Technical Office, Mr. Alaa Awad.

The Palestinian Public Prosecution in cooperation with the Palestinian Judicial institute conducted the fourth training course within the training program for public prosecutor members on “Managing Criminal Cases” which lasted for two days.

The Palestinian Public Prosecution Participates in a Regional workshop on the role of Public Prosecution’s Services in Combating Terrorism Crimes

HE Attorney General of the state of Palestine Mr.Akram Al-Khatib participated in a virtual workshop on “the role of the public prosecution services in combating terrorism crimes & its financing, and the importance of the international judicial cooperation & parallel investigations”, at the invitation of the Assembly of Arab deputies\ Arab Parliament Association, headed by the Attorney General of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Counselor Hamada El-Sawy, with the participation of a number of Attorney Generals from the Assembly's Executive Committee as Egypt, Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Kingdom of Morocco, and Kuwait, in the presence of a number of members from the Palestinian Public Prosecution.

Sharaka Project

CIDA and the Canadian Department of Justice developed a comprehensive five year project to support and promote the Public Prosecution Services. Sharaka project depends on Canadian expertise and leadership to bridge the gap in international aid aiming at supporting the Palestinian judicial sector.

Mateen Project

Mateen project focuses mainly on developing selected public prosecution offices in six districts; Nablus, Jericho, Tulkarem, Qalqilia, Dura and Hebron in the technical aspect of their work, developing and automating case management at these offices, as well as training and developing the capacity of prosecutors and administrative staff.

Swedish Grant

The Swedish representative provided a grant during the years 2009 and 2010 to support the urgent needs of the justice sector institutions: the Public Prosecution, the High Judicial Council and the Ministry of Justice.

Justice Sector Assistance Project JSAP

This project is funded by the US Department of State. In its first phase, the project focused on supporting the public prosecution offices to increase their efficiency in prosecuting through providing advice, guidance, training and equipment.
