His Excellency Attorney General of the state of Palestine Mr.Akram Alkhatib met with the Ambassador of the State of Poland to the State of Palestine Mr. Bashimsov Shish to discuss the joint cooperation between both countries in the presence of the Head of Policy Department at the Polish Embassy Mrs. Clara Dabrovska and the Palestinian Assistant Attorney General Mr.Yasser Hammad.

Palestinian Public Prosecution Signs MoU with the Republic of Nicaragua

His Excellency Attorney General of the State of Palestine Mr.Akram Alkhatib and the Attorney General of the Republic of Nicaragua Mrs. Ana Julia Guido Ochoa signed a Memorandum of Understanding for International cooperation between both sides through Skype, in the presence of the Ambassador of Nicaragua in Palestine HE Mr. Roberto Morales, the Ambassador of Palestine in Nicaragua HE Mr.Mohammad Amro, and Assistant Attorney General of the Palestinian Public Prosecution Mr.Yasser Hammad.

Public Prosecution Lunches the National Academic Network in cooperation with the Palestinian Universities

Under the supervision of HE the Attorney General Mr. Akram Alkhatib, the Public Prosecution launched the National Academic Network for Palestinian universities, specialized in capacity building and raising legal awareness on criminal mediation, in the presence of Deanship of Law Faculties from AL-Najah University, American University, Birzeit University, Al-Quds University, Palestine Ahliya University, and Hebron University, in addition to the Juvenile Protection Chief Prosecutor, Mr. Thaer Khalil.

Public Prosecution Signs MoUwith DCIP

His Excellency Mr. Akram Alkhatib signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Defense Children International (DCIP) represented by the Head of Board of Directors Mrs. Muna Abu Snineh, in the presence of General Director of DCI Mr. Khaled Kuzmar and the DCI Board member Mr. Yasser A’mouri, Assistant Attorney General Mr. Yasser Hammad and the Juvenile Protection Chief Prosecutor Mr. Thaer Khalil. In which the MoU aimed at enhancing the joint cooperation between the two parties.

Sharaka Project

CIDA and the Canadian Department of Justice developed a comprehensive five year project to support and promote the Public Prosecution Services. Sharaka project depends on Canadian expertise and leadership to bridge the gap in international aid aiming at supporting the Palestinian judicial sector.

Mateen Project

Mateen project focuses mainly on developing selected public prosecution offices in six districts; Nablus, Jericho, Tulkarem, Qalqilia, Dura and Hebron in the technical aspect of their work, developing and automating case management at these offices, as well as training and developing the capacity of prosecutors and administrative staff.

Swedish Grant

The Swedish representative provided a grant during the years 2009 and 2010 to support the urgent needs of the justice sector institutions: the Public Prosecution, the High Judicial Council and the Ministry of Justice.

Justice Sector Assistance Project JSAP
