The Public Prosecution holds a workshop to discuss the most significant achievements of the Centers of Excellence – Prosecutions Office in Northern Governorates

In cooperation with the Justice Sector Assistance Project (JSAP), the Public Prosecution has held a workshop on the most significant achievements made by the Excellence Centers during last year, with the participation of the Head of the Planning and Policy Unit at the Attorney General's Office, Mr. Khalid Awad.

The workshop aimed at closely identifying the results of the Excellence Initiative, implemented by JSAP and the Attorney General's Office in various District Prosecutions, in addition to identifying the most important achievements in reducing the percentage of backlogged files and increasing effectiveness in reducing the backlog of these files.

The workshop was opened by Dr. Ismail Nairat, the Advisor of the Public Prosecution and the Military Judiciary for the project, where he discussed the most important achievements made during the last year in the excellence centers, especially training on Mizan program, in addition to the joint cooperation between the Public Prosecution and JSAP in the implementation of joint projects, he stressed that these projects will be implemented by the specialized prosecutors in the Attorney General's Office in the coming stages.

The participants have came up with a set of recommendations, the most important of which is the need to form a technical committee to support the development of Mizan in addition to enhancing the efficiency of the staff working on Mizan.
