The Attorney General judge Abdulghani Al-Eweiwi visited Hebron University on Monday 9/6/2015, where he was received by the president of the university PhD. Salah Al-Zarou and a number of deans and professors. During the visit, an MoU was signed benefiting students in terms of understanding the nature of work at the public prosecution and benefiting from practical experiences, in an initiative that has been taken by the public prosecution before as part of its steps towards openness to all institutions and outreaching to all in order to serve the justice sector in Palestine and promote transparency with all partners and the local society.
After being introduced by PhD. Mohamad Ziad Al-Ja'bari, the Dean of the Financial and Administrative Affairs department at the university and PhD. Mutaz Qafishah the Dean of Law, the Attorney General gave a lecture to the law students at the university on the role and jurisdiction of the public prosecution in Palestine. He also presented the nature of daily work done at the public prosecution and explained its role in serving the society and public. Moreover, the Attorney General addressed the different sections and departments of the public prosecution and their jurisdiction. The students then asked some questions that were answered by the Attorney General.
